picture of orange shirtSeptember 30 is Orange Shirt Day.This date has been chosen as the date to commemorate all the children that attended residential schools as it was also the time of year that children had to leave their homes and communities to attend the schools. In the Limestone District School Board we are recognizing Orange Shirt Day on September 27 to demonstrate our committment to reconciliation and our support of residential school survivors.
