The Limestone Education through the Arts Program (LEAP) allows students to study all subjects in the Ontario curriculum through an integrated approach that emphasizes arts-based activities and creative expression. LEAP is taught by teachers with background in the arts. Students participate in regular, extended experiences that develop their skills and interests in movement, drama, visual arts and music.

This program is designed for students who demonstrate a strong aptitude in the arts and naturally gravitate to a variety of creative and artistic activities. Candidates for the program are assessed on demonstrated creative and expressive ability in one or more of drama, music, visual arts or movement; on the ability to interact successfully as a member of a team; and on their academic standing in all subjects, which should be at or near the provincial standard for the grade 7.

The LEAP program is offerred exclusively at Calvin Park Public School.
